Digital Marketing Event Ad:tech from April 27

New Delhi : ad:tech, Technology and Advertising Event is set to make a debut in India, with New Delhi being the first city to host this event on April 27 and 28, 2011 at The Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon. With 10 shows in 7 countries, ad:tech has been providing media, marketing and technology professionals with the tools and techniques required to succeed in a changing digital world for over a decade.

ad:tech is being brought to India by the New Delhi-based NetworkPlay Media in partnership with UK-based DMG Events. Commenting on the significance of the event, Rammohan Sundaram, Event Chairman at ad:tech India and Founder, CEO & Managing Director at Networkplay Media Pvt Ltd said, “ad:tech aims to bring together professionals and thought leaders in the digital advertising and marketing space on a common platform to meet new partners, potential customers and network with service providers from the country.”

According to a FICCI report in December 2010, digital advertising will continue to generate huge interest and is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate of 29.6% over the next five years. “Digital advertising has become a vital part of the overall advertising mix for marketers. Riding the wave, I believe digital media with its capability of connecting the marketers to its customers will lead the marketing and communication for years to come. In addition, increasing awareness among advertisers and increase in mobile penetration are driving the growth of this medium” adds Ram.
